On All-Age Dogs, Broomhill, Manitoba, circa 1998

I remember the first time I ever worked dogs with Colvin Davis up there in that big country around Broomhill. I stated that it was the furthest I had ever seen a dog fade from sight, to which Colvin replied:

“On the prairies, there’s no edge to lean on to build a dog a heart.”
